Regency Games Table and Lectern/Music Stand

both second quarter 19th century, the rosewood games table with an inlaid chessboard top folding over to reveal a baize-lined playing section with a frieze drawer and trestle-form base, h. 29", w. 20", d. 14-3/4", ext. l. 29-3/4", and the mahogany lectern/music stand with an adjustable tilting top supported by a reeded column on a concave base, h. 31-3/4" to 44", w. 23", d. 21".

  • Condition: **Both in very good polished and restored condition with minor marks and wear, minor repairs and shrinkage. The games table is sturdy and solid. There is a lock but no key. At one time, it was fitted with a hanging bag drawer; the frame now lacking. The lectern/music stand with a repaired shrinkage crack in the top. The column exhibits some movement at its joint with the bottom. Some veneer repairs to the base.
