eleven dinner plates, dia. 10-1/2";
twelve soup plates, dia. 10-1/4";
twelve bread-and-butter plates, dia. 7";
twelve luncheon plates, dia. 9";
one soup tureen, h. 10", w. 12-1/4";
two graduated oval platters, w. 14-3/4" to 18", l. 17-1/4" to 21-1/2";
two oval covered vegetable dishes, h. 5-1/4", w. 11-1/4"; and
one sauce tureen and stand, h. 7", w. 9".

  • Condition: **Handsome pattern often called "Japan", especially with these early marks.
    In generally good condition.
    Very slight variations to the decorative gilt details.

    DINNER PLATES:
    Three with general faint crazing. Two with pronounced crazing and tanning, one of these with a spider hairline underneath. Very scattered rubbing to gilt decoration and rim edge. Small leaves along border not gilded.
    SOUP PLATES:
    One with faint crazing, another with pronounced crazing and tanning.
    One with a stabilized 1/4" flake chip on top of the rim edge.
    LUNCHEON or SALAD/DESSERT PLATES:
    Four with pronounced crazing - two of these with tanning and spider hairlines; the two others with light tanning.
    BREAD and BUTTER PLATES:
    Very scattered minor rubbing to gilt decoration.
    One with an old staple-repaired break.
    SOUP TUREEN:
    Scattered minor rubbing to gilt decoration and a nick to the interior flange edge.
    PAIR COVERED VEGETABLES:
    One with a horizontal glaze hairline at one side and crazing around the handle. Interior flange with a shallow, old flake and a nick on the opposite side.
    The other with general tanning to the bowl interior.
    WELL AND TREE PLATTER:
    Good.
    OVAL PLATTER:
    Good.
    SAUCE TUREEN:
    Interior flange with dings/nicks.
    Old spider hairline at lower body exiting above the foot.
    The foot with a nick and two shallow flakes at bottom.
    Underplate with scattered nicks and dings.
