Ten-Karat Yellow Gold Lady's Open-Faced Pendant Watch
c. 1930, with white enamel face and black numerals, model "Canour" by N.E.W. Company, with a leather coin purse holder, together with a <"AGaramond Bold"> fourteen-karat yellow gold Elgin open-faced pocket watch, c. 1930, the slim body with white enamel face with black numerals and attached to a fourteen-karat yellow gold box-link chain (two pieces).


  • Condition: The N.E.W Co. pendant watch is 10kt gold filled. The staff on the balance wheel is broken, main spring to wound tight. The setting mechanism is slipping. Inside edge of case has a filing nick where someone has tested for gold. The back doesn't snap tight and is lose fitting. The off white porcelain dial and handle are in good condition. No visible cracks or chips.

    The Elgin is a 14kt gold filled case with a gold filled chain. The G.M. Wheeler movement is working and setting correctly. The gold filled case has brass showing and the bow is a white gold filled replacement. The white dial is not porcelain but is in very good condition.

    Chain weight - 6.0 grams.
    N.E.W Co. weight - 27.4 grams.
    Elgin weigh- 49.6 grams.
