  • Condition: **Most pieces in good condition with some wear consistent with age, but no breaks or repairs. The cake baskets are the most worn, with some scattered losses to the silvering, particularly in a ring around the interior of one bowl, the other with a compression dent where the foot meets the body and a bend in the handle near the hinge; both have some scattered minor pitting and flaking. The tea set has some wear to the yellow base metal in some minor spots, primarily along the sharp edges of the central band. Mellowing and wear to the gilding of the fruit bowl. Still, in all, a handsome, decorative collection.
