- Condition: The painting has been conservatively re-varnished, relined and the edges taped, which are slightly visible along the frame border. Minute traces of inpainting, visible only under UV light, are present to the upper right corner (1/8" x 1/4" spot) and to the right edge (pinhead-sized dots). There is also a small pencil mark above the white-clad figure in the middle ground. Under UV light, a few small scattered areas of pigment exhibit faint craquelure. In overall very good condition with no significant repairs or losses. Conservation was professional and minimally invasive.
