  • Condition: **The Streetin pieces are in very good condition, with no breaks, bends or repairs noted. The tines are all sharp, even and untrimmed, and the bowls well-shaped and crisp; scattered pips on the bowls, and one with a shallow 1/4" dent. All hallmarked (on the underside) with: 1) the sterling lion passant; 2) the London crowned leopard's head; 3) the George III bust duty mark; 4) the date letter "S" for 1813-1814; and 5) the "T.S" maker's mark of Thomas Streetin [Grimwade 2930]. Marks generally excellent, one or two with some wear, all with various tallyman's marks. The Barker spoons show wear to all the details, and one appears to have been broken and professionally repaired at the heel. Hallmarked with: 1), 2) and 3) as before, with 4) the date letter "c" for 1818-1819; and 5) the "TB" maker's mark of Thomas Barker [Grimwade 2697]. Marks rubbed but legible (but for the maker's mark on one spoon which is all but obliterated). The Chawner salt spoons have some wear to the hourglass motif and the gilding in the bowls, but are in otherwise good condition. Hallmarked with: 1) and 2) [uncrowned] and 3) as before, with 4) the date letter "l" for 1826-1827; and 5) the "WC" maker's mark of William Chawner II [Grimwade 3069]. Marks good, with various tallyman's marks.
