third quarter 20th century, decorated with polychrome Mandarin scenes, set with engraved brass latches, the interiors lined with Chinese paper.

  • Provenance: The Estate of Bonnie Bolding Swearingen, Birmingham, Alabama.
  • Condition: **Boxes are in overall very good condition with no notable damage. All exhibit a few minor nicks, mostly to edges. Boxes are made of wood.
    Please note the boxes are much smaller than stated in the printed catalogue. They are h. 14-3/4", w. 14-1/2", d. 11" - NOT h. 23-1/2", w. 37-3/4", d. 8-1/2".
