Three Assembled French Terracotta Two-Handled Confit Pots, fourth quarter 19th century, with glazed interiors and partially glazed exteriors, h. 12-1/2" to 13-1/4", dia. 7-3/4" to 8-1/2".


  • Condition: There is a 1/2" loss to the rim of one pot with an "L"-shaped crack emanating downward from it. All pots exhibit considerable wear. There are nicks, chips and crazing to the glaze throughout. There is pitting to the exposed terracotta. There are some burn marks to the rims, as well as accretions and staining to the pot interiors. Structurally sound. Condition is as to be expected with age and cookware.
