Collection of Three "Musterschutz" German Character Steins, probably by Schierholz and Sohn, depicting Von Bismarck, Bismarck in retirement and Frederick III, each executed in various shades of tan and white, the helmet covers lifting with molded pewter thumbpieces, each marked "Musterschutz" and with various impressed and painted numbers, h. 7" to 8", w. 3-1/2" to 4".


  • Condition: One cover with well-integrated professional restoration along with a tiny chip at the front of the bill. Otherwise, no cracks or hairlines. All marked "Musterschutz" in green. Typical patina to the pewter fittings.
