Three R. Lalique Glass Pigeon Figures, ca. 1930s, French, including a "Pigeon Gand", poised with his head turned to one side, h. 6", w. 9-1/4", d. 4", and two "Pigeon Verviers", poised with their heads down, h. 4-1/2", w. 10", d. 4-1/2", each with a stenciled etched mark "R. Lalique France" on the bottom. Provenance: Personal collection of Daniel Tenenbaum, San Francisco, California and Houston, Texas.


  • Condition: Scattered abrasions, nicks and shallow chips at the top of the head toward the back and neck. The feathered back with a small scuff/nick or two. Two shallow scratches to the uncarved portion of one wing and a small flake chip (approx. 1/8" x 3/8") to the upper edge of the other wing. TWO "PIGEON VERVIERS": Both in overall good condition. One example with a small flake chip at the inside vertical rear edge of one wing (approx. 1/8" x 1/16"). All three examples with typical very scattered, very minor interior glass anomalies. All exhibit typical fairly minor shelf wear underneath consistent with age.
