Three Russian Silver Gilt and Enameled Spoons

Moscow, 84 zolotnik (.875) silver, including a salt spoon by Gustav Klingert with enameled monogram and date in the bowl "SEM/1893", and a pair of teaspoons by Matriona Andreeva, 1896-1908, all with spiral-twist finial "a la Russe"; all with multi-color cloisonne enamel in the Muscovite taste.

  • Condition: In generally good used condition, with the expected minor abrasions and one or two hairline cracks in the cloisonne enamel. The salt spoon has some losses to the thin champleve enamel in the bowl monogram/date. One teaspoon has a small loss to one of the cloisons on the finial. The salt spoon is marked with the maker's mark "GK" and two-part Moscow/fineness mark. The teaspoons are marked with the maker's mark "MA" and the first kokoshik for Moscow.
