Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver "Clover" Center Bowl, the pattern introduced in 1898, this example before 1902, New York City, New York, of lobed octagonal form with realistically detailed applied openwork "clover" rim, monogrammed "JHK", h. 3-1/4", dia. 12-1/2", 31.95 t. oz.
- Condition: Two dents on the rim, most noticeable on the underside, with a very slight crimp in the silver between two "flowers". The perimeter of the lower edge of the bowl shows scattered bumps and shallow dents on the interior with corresponding scratches and wear on the exterior. The underside has traces of a protective clear lacquer coating. Moderate loss of detail to the rim. Scattered black salt spotting. Marked (on the underside) "Tiffany & Co. / 13870 Makers 1106 / Sterling Silver / 925-1000 / T".
