late 18th century, the rectangular breakfront marble top with a molded edge, above a conforming case fitted with two long drawers, each with three veneered panels and decorative banding, raised on cabriole legs.

  • Condition: **In very good polished and restored condition.

The marble top exhibits typical fleabites along its perimeter edges. There are some chips to the top along the rear edge.

Drawers slide freely. Retains locks but no key.

There is evidence of professional veneer repairs and restorations. There is some filler or inpainting to the line stringing, now missing its muting top-coat at some points.

Bronze sabot from front leg is detached but present.
