19th century, each of a well-groomed dog resting atop a red cushion, one with tufted needlework for the body of the dog; together with a Berlin Woolwork hand-colored paper pattern.
Each glazed and framed.

  • Condition: **In overall very good condition consistent with age, material and usage. Embroidery of large dog with some stitch loss at upper left and scattered small other areas. Small dog with scattered faint soiling/staining especially along edges. With each, colors maintain pigment intensity and stitches maintain structural integrity. Pattern with some faint toning.
