including:
a Set of Belle Epoque Silver Gilt and Mother-of-Pearl Fruit Knives, fourth quarter 19th century, Paris, by "L&P", first standard (.950) silver, including twelve knives in the Empire taste, each with a pointed silver blade and two-color-gilt laurel-banded ferrule and cap, with a carved mother-of-pearl handle of barrel-shaped section; presented in the original moire- and velvet-lined leather case with gilt retailer's stamp of Maison Servan, Bordeaux, 1-1/2" x 8-1/4" x 8-3/4", l. 7-1/4"; and
a Cased Set of Restauration Luncheon and Dessert Knives, second quarter 19th century, Paris & Chatellerault, including eighteen luncheon knives with steel blades by Jacques Cabau, Paris, and eighteen dessert knives with second standard (.800) silver blades by various Chatellerault makers (E. Gagneux-Clerk, C. Daille-Audiger, F. Luneteau-Briault and G. Tessier-Petit), each with a carved handle with anthemion finial and etched monogram "ML", l. 7-7/8", presented in the original suede-lined case, with lift-out tray, 2" x 8-3/4" x 6-3/4".
