Two Dutch Silver Casters

  • Condition: Overall Condition: Very Good/Good. The marked caster is in very good condition, with no issues noted beyond some light wear. Marked (in various places on the underside, foot and cap) with 1) the Dutch "Minerva" assay office guarantee for Leeuwarden; 2) the Dutch second standard lion passant (with export "key" cancellation mark); 3) the date letter "M" for 1896; and 4) the "hammer/R" maker's mark of Gebr. Reitsma. The unmarked caster is in good condition, with a few scattered bumps and dings, and a small, 3/8" split on the dome of the foot. The locking cap is functional but slightly loose.
