Two French Silver Tastevins

  • Condition: Overall Condition: Very Good. Slight downward dent and faint horizontal scratch on the thumb-piece of the first standard example. Both are very slightly out of round thanks to some light bumps, but neither have any major dents. Otherwise no condition issues noted on either example beyond light wear consistent with age: pinpoint dents, light scuffs and scratches, etc. Both marked (on both the rim and handle) with the appropriate French "Minerva" mark (which is worn on the first standard example). The first standard example marked with the "JG/pansy" mark of Jules Gerard, and additionally engraved under the thumb-piece "Chapus". No maker's mark on the second standard example as noted.
