Two George III Sterling Silver Teapot Stands
both oval, one example hallmarked London, 1792-1793, by Charles Aldridge, with engraved leaf-and-dart banding, scalloped cartouche and four threaded spatulate feet, l. 6-1/4", the other hallmarked London, 1783-1784, by William Vincent, with beaded edge and later Victorian floral scroll decoration, rococo cartouche, and four claw-and-ball feet, engraved with the crest of Hay and monogrammed "C.C.H", l. 6-1/4".
