Two Neoclassical-Style Painted Mirrors

including a Directoire trumeau mirror, ca. 1800, with giltwood trim on an ivory ground, the side panels with torch trophees, inset with a later chromolithograph depicting a harbor scene, h. 43-3/4", w. 26-3/4", and an English tabernacle mirror in the Adam style, second quarter 20th century, painted pale green, the upper molded plaque decorated with putti, h. 40", w. 26".

  • Condition: **On the trumeau mirror, the molding at the top has been re-nailed, which has caused a section of it to partially split/crack. The image of the harbor is not a painting as stated in the description, but a print. Both mirrors are in overall good condition, and exhibit minor nicks and scratches (mostly to edges), which are to be expected with age and use.
