including a figure of Una and the Lion, third quarter 19th century, English, after the John Bell figure modeled for Minton, unmarked, h. 15-1/4", w. 11", d. 5-3/4", and a bust of Alexandra, Princess of Wales, post-1868, English, after the marble original by Mary Thornycroft (English, 1809-1895), the socle marked "Art Union of London, Mary Thornycroft, Sc 1868", h. 14-3/4", w. 9", d. 4-1/4".

  • Condition: **In very good condition.
    The bust of "Alexandra, Princess of Wales" is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restorations.
    Overall height: 15", width: 8-1/4", depth: 5".

    The figure of "Una and the Lion" has a 1-1/2" tight hairline crack in the drape of the lion which is only on the back. The figure is otherwise free of chips, cracks or restorations.
    Overall height: 15-1/2", width: 11-1/2", depth: 5".
