Unusual Continental Fruitwood Coffer

18th century, the hinged rectangular top opening to form a settle with a bi-paneled arch, foliate-carved back and a wooden seat, the seat hinged and opening to a storage area, the front with three panels, each carved with double arches, one to the side opening to reveal three small drawers, the sides with carved arch designs, raised on projecting block feet.
