Victorian Zebrawood Bezique Box, fourth quarter 19th century, designed to hold cards for playing Bezique, the cover opening to reveal two Bezique markers under the cover, one on either side of an English registry mark for 1871, the hinged front opening to reveal two stacks of cards, labeled by retailer, "W. Rodrigues, 42 Piccadilly W.", on the brass plate between the hinges, h. 3-1/2", w. 8-1/4", d. 4-3/4". Provenance: The Flatt Collection.
