Walter Durfee Model 20 Quarter-Sawn Oak Nine-Tube Tall Case Clock

late 19th century, the relief-carved case with beveled glass panes and raised on carved paw feet, the tubes engraved "Tubular Bell Patent Nov. 8, 1887, Walter H. Durfee. Prov. R.I.", the movement labeled "F. C. Grogan, Pittsburgh, Pa.", playing Westminster and Whittington chimes.

  • Condition: **In overall fine condition. No sign of damage or repairs to the case. The tubes are slightly tarnished from age. Minor rub to the right front foot. No signature found on the back plate of the movement; however, the seat board bears the Walter H. Durfee stamp. Door key and winding crank present.
