Waterford-Style Smoked Cut-Glass Six-Light Chandelier in the Georgian Taste, ca. 1900, on a cut glass standard decorated with urn-and vase-form sections, set with two glass canopies hung with drops and swags of crystals, set with eight faceted cut glass candle arms terminating with matching cut glass candle cups and drip pans, and the cut glass arms terminating in glass spines, with swags of glass drops, h. 45", w. 28-1/2". Provenance: The Estate of James C. Westerfield, Jackson, Mississippi.

  • Condition: In overall very good condition. No visible losses or repairs. One of the candle cups has an internal crack with subsequent discoloration (yellowing) below it - which is not visible unless standing on a ladder. Ball finial is of a slightly darker (smoky gray) glass than the arms and standard. One of the candlestick covers is partially cracked. Note that this is Waterford-STYLE, not Waterford as previously stated.
