second quarter 19th century, in the manner of George Smith, and possibly crafted by Gillows, Lancaster, the rectangular top with a three-quarter brass spindled gallery and joined to two lower shelves by supports of lotus-topped fluted uprights with flanking scrolling designs, the lower shelf over a concealed drawer, raised on ribbed bun feet to casters.
