Assembled Egyptian Revival Clock
third quarter 19th century, French, the pylon-form rusticated clock case composed of black Belgian and red griotte marble, with a vulture god on the lower edge, the handles in the form of Apis, the bull god, and the top centered by a figure of Osiris, the god of the underworld, the dial decorated with enamel flowers and marked with the partially legible name of the retailer "Savage Ly(...), Montreal", and set with marked Achille Brocot works.
