Cased Set of Louis Philippe Parcel-Gilt Silver Teaspoons

1838-1850, Paris, by Eusebe Callot, second standard (.800) silver, including a dozen teaspoons, each with a pointed bowl and single-struck shaped handle decorated with a hatched meandering design, presented in the original fitted ebonized case with boulle inlay and brass stringing, lined in burgundy and cream satin and cream velvet, 1-1/2" x 6-7/8" x 8-1/2"

  • Condition: A nice set in good condition. Some wear to the gilding, but no breaks, dents or repairs. Interesting and attractive design. No mongrams or removals The case lid is slightly warped, and there are four horizontal cross-wise cracks on the underside. Losses and fraying to the cream satin lining of the interior lid.
