Chinese Export Imari Porcelain Chamber Pot

Qing dynasty, 19th century, of compressed globular form, with flared lip and loop handle to one side, the exterior decorated with trees, cranes and flowers, the lip with alternating floral reserves and chrysanthemum medallion design on a stylized underglaze-blue ground.

  • Condition: **There is 1/4" filler to foot rim and some small scattered chips and abrading to foot rim and to underside of pot rim. The inside of the pot exhibits a spherical depression of unglazed clay, likely from stilt marks. Additional firing anomalies include firing lines and peppering.
