Chinese Four-Panel Coromandel Screen, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911)/early Republic period (1912-1949), one side depicting courtly ladies in a palace garden, the other showing ducks along a marshy riverbank, overall, h. 72-1/2", w. 64".


  • Condition: Some shrinkage-related cracking and crazing, mostly at the top of each panel. Nicks, abrasions and overall wear to surface consistent with age, material and use. A few scattered areas, particularly along the edges, that appear to be professionally filled losses.
