Chinese Six-Panel Coromandel Screen, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), 19th/20th century, decorated with a carved and painted court scene with officials, concubines, royal children, and the emperor seated in an elegant pavilion, the lower section of each panel depicting arrangements of antiquities, overall, h. 93", w. 107-1/4", each panel, w. 17-7/8".


  • Condition: Wear consistent with age, material and use. Scattered nicks and abrasions to surface lacquer and pigments. Some light soiling. A 1" loss to the lacquer in the top right corner exposing wood underneath. No visible repairs.
