Chinese Longquan Blue Celadon Tripod Censer, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), probably 19th century, with banded decoration and small ruyi-form feet, h. 3", dia. 7-7/8". Provenance: Personal collection of Paul Rosenthal, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.


  • Condition: In overall good condition. Some scattered firing anomalies, soiling and accretions throughout. Some light scratches to the surface of the glaze throughout. Light scuffing to unglazed undersides of each of the vessel's three feet. Wear is consistent with age, material and use, with no breaks or visible evidence of restoration.
