Continental Oak Commode
19th century, the slightly bowed top above a conforming case fitted with four long drawers, each with annulated diamond panels and webbed carvings, flanked to either side by spiral-fluted and foliate uprights, raised on toupie feet.

Condition: **Slight separation to the top board due to age shrinkage. Minor old stains. The drawer interiors have old contact paper lining their bottoms. The drawers slide well. There is faint evidence of keyhole plates at one time. Beautifully carved. Rich finish and patina.
