Pair of Venetian Polychrome Blackamoor Figures
second quarter 20th century, the figures modeled standing on rocky outcroppings, dressed in silver gilt tunics and brilliant Chinese-red pants, and looking upward at the silver gilt cornucopias with polychrome fruit.

Condition: **They are in good "as found" condition. One has had its index finger re-attached. The other has had its thumb and index finger re-attached. Minor shrinkage from age. Scattered minor dings and flaking to the painted surfaces. Both appear to retain their original painted surface. No carving losses. They are carved out of wood.
