English Five-Piece Miniature Sterling Silver Tea Set

hallmarked Birmingham, 1951-1952, by "JR", in the Regency taste, including:
a coffeepot, h. 1-5/8", l. 2";
a teapot, h. 1-1/8", l. 2-1/8";
an open sugar bowl, h. 5/8", l. 1-3/8";
a cream jug, h. 1/2", l. 1"; and
a tray, 5-7/8" x 1-1/2"
the bodies gadrooned on the lower half, with crested squared handles, the pots with fitted lids.

  • Condition: **A charming set in good condition. The coffeepot has a very small split at the front of the lid opening. Otherwise no issues noted beyond the light patina of age. Each piece fully hallmarked on the underside with: 1) the sterling lion passant; 2) the Birmingham anchor; 3) the date letter "B" for 1951-1952; and 4) the maker's mark "JR" (in separate punches).
