  • Condition: **All decoration intact and in overall excellent condition.

    COMPOTES:
ONE: Old hairline underneath (approx. 1-1/2") extending from side edge into the recessed center of the base (not visible at the gilt edge or on top of the base).
OTHER: Dish with an old series of hairlines visible on the top surface and underneath (top appears to have been professionally sealed at some point). Three of these cracks extend from the center out through the rim. There are two additional faint hairlines to the glaze visible underneath. The upper platform of the base with two old hairlines from the edge into the center but not affecting the pendent. Balance of the elaborate base not affected. All of the above appears to be stable.

    COMPORTS:
ONE: Dish in excellent condition. Underside of the base with a faint series of hairlines to glaze extending vertically from the lower edge with an adjacent horizontal hairline connecting two of these (not visible on top).
OTHER: Similar hairlines as above on the underside of the base. Top surface of the dish with a semi-circular hairline within the perimeter of the white recessed center (faintly visible underneath). One floral reserve with a 1" shallow scratch.

    PLATES:
    All in overall excellent condition.
    One with general fine craquelure.
One with TINY nick/loss to two circular raised gilt centers between two swags along with loss to one "dot" above the gilt bellflower on two examples. Four with a minor scratch or two within the figural center.

All of the above consistent with age. There is no indication that any pieces of this set were ever used.
Figural scenes and floral reserves all hand-painted.
