Extraordinarily Rare Life-Sized Chinese Female Lay Figure/Mannequin

Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), first half 19th century, hand-carved Asian hardwood, with fully articulated wheel and ball joints, the face with incised and painted facial features and horse hair inset, plugged and arranged as a single braid, the feet modeled as bound; together with a later painted wood presentation chair.
