Fine Anglo-Indian Teakwood, Mother-of-Pearl and Mixed-Metal Inlaid Side Table

late 19th century, the rectangular top with a molded edge, profusely inlaid with floral sprays, silver line-work and brass leaves, the aprons with delicately lathe-turned interlocking spindles, the legs joined by a lower shelf with similar inlays.

  • Condition: **In good "as found" condition.

    The piece exhibits looseness at glue joints.

    Scattered small losses to mother-of-pearl and brass inlay throughout. Most filled in, with a notably larger loss to mother-of-pearl on the top, about 1-1/4" x 1/2".

    Shrinkage cracks at perimeter of top and to the lower shelf.
