a "Warrior" demitasse spoon, retailed by Abner H. Miller, Chicago, Illinois, monogrammed "B", l. 4-1/2";
a "Warrior" master salt spoon with gilt bowl, l. 3-5/8";
a "Medallion" demitasse spoon, retailed by James Conning, Mobile, Alabama, with gilt bowl, monogrammed "AVQ", l. 4-3/8";
a "Medallion" teaspoon, l. 5-7/8"; and
an unnamed berry scoop with beaded handle and neoclassical maiden's masque affrontee, the bowl with pointed shoulders and engraved with palmettes, monogrammed on the reverse "BR" conjoined, l. 9-1/2".

  • Condition: **In overall good condition, with no issues noted other than the expected patina of age. Nice medallions with minimal wear. The gilding is mellowed on both the salt and demitasse spoons and worn on the underside. The berry scoop is a nice, hefty, unusual piece. Each piece marked on the underside with the Wood & Hughes "W&H" trademark; the demitasse spoons additionally with retailer's marks.
