Large Japanese Export Silver Vase

Taisho period (1912-1926), the vase of ovoid form, narrowing to a waisted neck with flared lip and everted rim, the exterior depicting multiple cranes, with a two-character mark and seal to the lower reverse, the base impressed Ikoma-sei below a two-character "pure silver" mark within a rectangular reserve.

  • Condition: **In overall good condition with no losses or repairs. There are two thumbprint surface depressions to the vase shoulders/body and a pinhead-sized ding. The lower third part of the base exhibits some scattered scratches.
