ca. 1900, the American Colonial Revival Chippendale-style miniature mahogany slant-lid desk with straight bracket feet and four graduated drawers, the fallboard concealing an interior with a molded prospect door and column-form document drawers, flanked by pigeonholes and drawers, h. 15", w. 13-3/4", d. 7", and the English Queen Anne-style miniature walnut chest on stand with cabriole legs and a shaped skirt, the drawers lined with rosewood crossbanding, and book-matched walnut veneer decorating the top, h. 13-1/2", w. 10", d. 6-1/4".
