Pair of Victorian Sterling Silver Tapersticks

  • Condition: Overall Condition: Good. Both show some evidence of a repair of a compression dent where the base meets the standard, with some faint cracks and small exposed pitch. Otherwise no condition issues beyond the expected wear consistent with age. The iron weights on the underside are rusted but perfectly secure and functional. Each piece hallmarked (on the basal edge) with: 1) the sterling lion passant; 2) the London leopard's head; 3) the date letter "T" for 1894-1895; and 4) the "TB" in a shield maker's mark of Thomas Bradbury & Sons. The undersides and bobeches part-marked.
