Set of Six German .800 Silver Condiment Baskets, first quarter 20th century, by Storck & Sinsheimer, Hanau, each in the form of a deep, oval openwork flower basket decorated with embossed floral swags and cabochon cartouches, with scroll-edged rim and fixed handle, raised on four openwork feet, fitted with a conforming colorless glass liner, h. 5", l. 3-3/4", w. 3", 18.27 total t. oz. (excluding glass liners).


  • Condition: Overall condition: Good. About half of the baskets have some minor bending on one or more feet, causing them to sit at a slight tilt/wobble, but otherwise the silver elements are in very good condition, with no dents, breaks, repairs or losses noted. Each marked (on the lower edge) with pseudo-hallmarks associated with Storck & Sinsheimer. Two of the glass insets have a chip on the rim, with some scattered tiny frits on all, but no cracks.
