Sheraton Mahogany-Veneered Tall Case Clock
first quarter 19th century, the face signed "David Weatherby, Philadelphia", on turned and reeded legs, the cross-banded base supporting the body, the waist door with a serpentine crest and chamfered corners, the hood with turned colonettes and a swan's-neck pediment with turned mahogany urn-form finials, the painted sheet iron dial with handsome painted green, red and gilt lunette-form spandrels, and a rocking ship movement, the back of the face stenciled "NOLEN'S MANUFACT'Y, BOSTON".
