Suite of Fourteen George III-Style Mahogany Dining Chairs
consisting of two armchairs and twelve sidechairs, each with a shaped foliate-carved crest above a pierced and interlacing splat, the padded seat raised on cabriole legs headed by foliate carving and ending in ball-and-claw feet.

Condition: **One chair has looseness to its back and also where the front legs join the seat rails. Scuffs and dings to the knees throughout, along with light wear around the seat frames. Good dark, rich finish. Very minor shrinkage cracks to some backsplats. Nicely carved details. Some seats with light soiling and fading to the fabric.
