including an exceptional George III inlaid satinwood artist's drawing box, ca. 1800, the cover with a brass support and apertures for holding a brass drawing or reading stand, and with a stained oval inlaid flower and rosewood crossbanding, the interior with a velvet-lined drawing slope and compartments for inkpots and pens, along with graduated compartments and a lower pull-out tray, labeled by London art supplier "Reeves & Inwood", h. 5-3/4", w. 13", d. 8-1/2", together with an English Victorian burr walnut lap desk, third quarter 19th century, with a fitted interior lined with aubergine leather, inkpots and a pen tray, and fitted with a Bramah lock, h. 5", w. 14", d. 10".
