Two Wooden Knife Boxes

ca. 1800, consisting of a large fruitwood example with a pressed brass handle on the cover and a Baroque-style lock, the interior velvet-lined and trimmed with gilt braid, h. 14-1/4", w. 12", d. 7-1/2", and a George III mahogany example with a serpentine front, trimmed with barber-pole stringing, with a fitted and inlaid interior, h. 12-3/4", w. 8-1/2", d. 6-1/2".

We accept payments by check, cash and wire transfer [subject to a $30 fee for domestic wires and a $60 fee for international wires]; we also accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover for invoices up to $25,000. Shipping
